We left our brave kitties at the town junkyard. Where they tracked Sir Scratch a Lot, who had crossed over into the territory of a different Parliament.
Prior to this. The dynamic duo had brought the exhausted tabby cat into their burden dwelling and laid the near dead kitty on a pillow of comfy blankets; in order for Sir Scratch a Lot to rest. Then the two, who were also exhausted, went promptly to sleep.
Awaking mid morning the next day, the two kitties discovered that the tabby cat had rushed off a few hours before thy awoke. Night Watcher, being the more even headed cat, was able to gain the scent of Sir Scratch a Lot. With Fake Scar in tow, they set off to find the previously possessed kitty. The scent led them to the neighborhood creek. However, since Night Watcher is a curious kitty, she was promptly distracted by a pretty shinny piece of burden jewelry. Because of the distraction, she was not able to pick up on the scent again.
"Ravens are just nosey in general"
During this time, a nosey raven named Muffles, descended down and offered to help the two cats for a small favor. Fake Scar, not being one to pay anyone for anything, tried to intimidate the bird into helping them. The two bantered and bluffed and blustered, but to no avail. Night watcher was a bit more clever and conned Muffles into helping them with a sob story. Muffles, being a sucker for a sob story, was able found the where about of Sir Scratch a Lot through the his gift of gab; and because ravens are just nosey in general.
Armed with the information from Muffles, Night Watcher promptly thanked him and went back on the hunt with Fake Scar in transit behind her, all the while he was grumbling about bird brains; he was a very grumpy kitty after getting pooped on by Muffles.
