Session 5 of The Yellow Kitty - A Secret Life of Cats Fate Core Game

We last left our witty band of kitties in a lair inhabited by ravenous rats.

Prior to this, the duo decided to ignore the territory lines and trek on to find Sir Scratch a Lot. They ventured through the junkyard till they discovered a inconspicuous opening in one of the Junk piles. Fake Scar, being a very haughty kitty, marched through the opening. Being ever cautious, Night Watcher saw that her friend was walking into a trap and alerted him to the fact, allowing him to step out of the way. Unfortunately, Night Watcher was not as observant in her own surroundings and got caught in a snare trap.

Not long after, the sounds of those who set the traps could be heard ascending to see what they caught. Fake Scar decided to hide, as his curiosity got the better of him and wanted to know who these would be trappers were. Leaving Night Watcher to her own devices and none amused and attempting to free herself from the snare. Meanwhile, the mysterious trappers appeared at the entrance to the lair and were revealed to be a small swarm of rats. The swarm was very inquisitive of Night Watcher, especially since she was in her shadow form, and proceeded to see if she was good enough to eat by their master.

Again, Fake Scar caught the curious bug and wanted to know who this master was leaving Night Watcher to be carried away by the miniature swarm. Night Watcher had enough. Using her shaping mage, she grew sharp claws and cut the wire snare clean in half, while the rats marched on; still debating on her delicious factor. With the rats distracted, she quick snuck away and met back up with Fake Scar.

After some curt discussion about looking out for each other, they settled on a plan to find to find out who this master of rats is. The plan is to have Night Watcher be recaptured by the rats and Fake Scar to follow along. Hopefully this plan will not lead to Night Watcher on the silver platter of this nefarious master.
