We last left our heroes at their current base of operations, with an unconscious ugnaut in tow.
Previous to this scene, the heroes were scoping out the art museum that is currently housing the jewel. After securing data on the museum security, along with a full HR data dump.
Returning to the rented apartment (the base of operations), in order to analyze the stolen HR data. The trio decided to find the disgruntled ugnaut, who is a maintenance worker within the museum, and enlist him into their scheme to steal the jewel. In addition to finding the ugnaut, the cyborg was able to create a duplicate of the jewel.
The trio was able to find the ugnaut at a local casino. After calling in a fake bomb threat, they were able to get the individual and bring him back to the base of operation.
